WHO ARE WE ??

Ambérieu Marathon was created in September 1997 by a group of friends, passionate about running. Today our association now has nearly 70 members of all ages, men & women and of all levels but all sharing the same love of the sport.

We aim to….

• Share our passion for running with as many (who want to!!), whatever the distance or the level. Whether you prefer running to a stopwatch, taking part in races or simply running as a group in the fresh air .…

What we do….

• Training sessions adapted to each runner and to their personal objectives and level of fitness.

• Since 1999 we have organised “La Ronde des Grangeons” the first weekend in September.

• We organise group outings to competitions and other training sessions and regularly meet over dinner or a beer!! It’s not just PBs all the time….

You can join us here in Ambérieu en Bugey (in L’Ain) right in the heart of the Bugey countryside, 50 km east of Lyon and, 100 km from Geneva.
